ࡱ> -/, FbjbjUU @??4 8 999999999999999999999&v9999wK9P[n909@9999999999999999999999999 :  LA CANADA VILLAGE ASSOCIATION Board Meeting Minutes, June 16, 2010 The meeting of the La Canada Village Homeowners Association began at 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the home of Donna Godfrey, #48. Board members in attendance were President Ian Gavine; Secretary/Treasurer Donna Godfrey and Member-at-Large John Breytspraak. Vice-President Julio Peralta and Member-at-Large Bonnie Teague were absent. Lucille Bowen, #36, also attended. The minutes of the March 10, 2010 meeting were presented. Ian moved that the minutes be accepted, John seconded and all were in favor. Treasurers Report The Budget v. Actual financial statement for May 31, 2010 was presented. We are eleven months into the fiscal year that began July 1st and are on budget. We continue to monitor accounts receivable to assure that all dues are paid timely, and take action when any owner is delinquent. The Associations attorney sends demand letters when necessary and if there is not an appropriate response, a lien is filed on the unit. The current fiscal year will end June 30, 2010. Please remember that the $200 special assessment is due along with the regular homeowner fee on July 1, 2010. Do not send this in prior to July 1, however, so that it may be accounted for the in proper fiscal year. Ian moved that the report be accepted, John seconded and all were in favor. Managers Report Ian read the Managers Report prepared by Farrell Smyth, and it is attached to and is a permanent part of these minutes. Donna moved that the report be accepted; Ian seconded and all were in favor. Landscaping Report Bonnie continues to work with Carter on landscape issues. Unfinished Business We are in the process of getting bids for repair and sealing of the parking lot. Contractors that we have used in the past are no longer available. Ian is coordinating this effort. New Business The roofs of the storage and pool sheds are being replaced. Funds for this work will be taken from the Roofing reserves. The paneling on the pool solar structure will be replaced and painted this summer. The pool fence and gates are being painted. Central Coast Pool has completed modification of the drain returns in the pool to comply with new Federal laws. Other Concerns None.
